Life in the 21^st century has been changed since the advent of technology. Man’s activities have very much changed according to the shape of their environment. Due to this improvement in science, man’s habits and approaches to various activities have taken a new twist. Reading in particular, has also changed in essence following this flowing tide of technology. One no longer need to read from a book but can still derive the same amount of pleasure by reading from the internet. Although, the nature of reading has changed, the interaction between any text and reader is still crucial as it is the result of the actualization between the two (Iser, 1980). Hence, the role of a reader is ever so important in determining the creation of different text in say, an internet environment or a book environment. This relates to the point that, before a writer can create successful texts, he must first be aware of his audience (due to the important role of the reader).
