Such a problem doesn’t only occur in an academic
environment. The same kind of
situation arises in a news environment as well.
As we know, online information from different tabloids and news bodies
are so prevalent these days. It is evident that users of the Internet do look at
such sources as they are more convenient than actual papers. But, more often
than not, many take it for granted that what they read is the very truth. One can argue that if we don’t believe these news, then why
bother reading it in the first place? What I’m trying to say here, is not to
just point out the credibility of the sources but to also highlight the danger
of man depending on such sources in an environment, which is all so volatile. |
